The story was told in the first person by Jim Hawkins, whose mother kept the Admiral Benbow Inn, and who shared in the adventures from start to finish. Billy bones, the old se man, come to this peaceful inn one day, apparently intending to finish his life there. He asked Jim to keep a watch out for other a man with one leg, but despite all prevention action, he was hunted out and served with the black spot that meant death. Jim and his mother barely escaped when Blind Pew, Black Dog, and other pirates descended on the inn in search of the sea dog’s papers. Jim took up a packet of papers to square the sailor’s debt, when they were forced to retreat from the inn. 1. Setting
Time          in the 1700’s
Place          in the island which there the hill was named “Spyglass”.

  1. Style
The style of this novel used high level because I found many unfamiliar words so that I was rather difficult to understand.

  1. Point of View
The point of view of this novel is in a first-person narrative Such as the dialogue: ”He promised to pay me a silver coin every month if I could keep an eye out for “a man with one leg.” I was to tell him at once if I saw such a man.”

  1. Moral value
The struggle of determination through adventure on the middle of pirates who led to success is the moral value of this novel. Even they fight each other but they never give up to struggle what they want to get. I didn’t take the negative side of this story which put much blood with rough fight but I prefer to their struggle to get something that they though it’s really precious.
